What part of the country changed the MOST during the American Industrial Revolution (North or South)? Explain why this part of the country changed the most.

Answers

Answer:

the North

Explanation:

During the American Industrial Revolution, the North started heavily developing factories and manufacturing, whereas the South stayed largely agricultural. The North took the raw materials from the South and turned them into products such as textiles. This created new massive industries in the North, for example, textiles, and an equally massive demand for these products. Where there's a demand, there are more jobs to fill. These industries created a dramatic increase in job opportunities within the North, which attracted migrants and impoverished people that didn't have a proper education or the social standing to get a better job. These people worked in said factories, creating small diasporas of people throughout the North. Emerging immigrant diasporas including Irish and German people created more diversity and also led to racism within the North. Overall, the north faced the most economic and societal changes due to the Industrial Revolution

B. Establishing contracts solely with countries where English is the major language.

By using the same logic that would remove C and D from the answer list (that there are communications between countries with other major languages, due to linguistic advancement), we can reason that B is the answer.

Also to make sure, we can reason that A is also not the answer due to computers and the networking utilizing it were present in the 20th century, becoming prevalent in the 1970s.

What is the Columbian Exchange?

The Columbian Exchange refers to the widespread transfer of plants, animals, and people between the Old World (Europe, Africa, and Asia) and the New World (the Americas) that occurred after Christopher Columbus's voyages to the Americas in 1492.

The exchange brought significant changes to the cultures, economies, and environments of both worlds. From Europe, the Americas received new domesticated animals, crops such as wheat, and technologies like the wheel.

From the Americas, Europe received new crops such as corn, potatoes, and tobacco, as well as precious metals like gold and silver. However, the exchange also had a dark side, as the introduction of new diseases such as smallpox had devastating effects on the indigenous populations of the Americas.
