Describe examples from your life of three ways that groups affect people through social facilitation, social loafing, and deindividuation.

Answers

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

The examples from my life regarding three ways that groups affect people through social facilitation, social loafing, and deindividuation, are the following.

Social facilitation.

This term means that people perform much better in front of strange people than when doing it in front of friends or acquaintances.

I remember a time when playing football, our practices were good, nothing to be proud of. But when game day came, our performance was much better.

Social loafing.

In this case, a member of a group is lazy and does not work as hard as the other members of the group. My example is from that football team. There were players that worked harder than others. Some players were lazy and did not give enough effort while others took extra time in preparation.

Deindividuation.

This situation occurs when you lose your personality when becoming a member of a large group.

When I was a player in that above-mention football team, I had to sacrifice parts of my personality as a team member. I had to obey certain rules I may like or dislike, and follow the leaders for the benefit of the group, although sometimes I did not agree with what they said.

What made the Westward Expansion so easy?

Answers

Answer:

There were a number of factors that seemed to converge to make westward expansion more feasible. This included political acts like the Louisiana Purchase and the notion of "manifest destiny."  Increased economic activity like fur trading helped to forge routes westward like the Oregon Trail.

Explanation:

Westward expansion describes the movement of settlers in the American West beginning in the 19th-century. This began when President Thomas Jefferson purchased territory from the French government that doubled the size of the United States in 1803.  Western expansion was also aided by the Gold Rush and the Oregon Trail.  Initially, the Oregon Trail was a route that fur trappers had staked beginning about 1811. They continued to use the route for trading and moving their products until the 1840s. At that time the trail was on passable by foot or by horse. It wasn't until 1836 that the first wagon train left Independence Missouri and was able to get as far as Idaho.  People liked the idea of settling in new communities and finding new opportunities out west and this was reinforced with manifest destiny, the notion that Americans should progressively develop the country and generate prosperity. Unfortunately, this displaced a lot of indigenous groups in the process.

In Canada and the United States, there were lots of barriers that were being put forward. These barriers were the Rocky mountains, Churchill river, and Laurentian mountains as they did not provide the environment that was needed for cycling in that area. The mountains were a rigid area where cultivation was not possible. And in the Churchill river, it was difficult for the people to settle as it often flooded.

Please formalize the argument seen in the following passage:
Look around the world: Contemplate the whole and every part of it: You will find it to be nothing but one great machine, subdivided into an infinite number of lesser machines, which again admit of subdivisions to a degree beyond what human senses and faculties can trace and explain. The curious adapting of means to ends, throughout all nature, resembles exactly, though it much exceeds, the productions of human contrivance; of human design, thought, wisdom, and intelligence. Since therefore the effects resemble each other, we are led to infer, by all the rules of analogy, that the causes also resemble, and that the Author of Nature is somewhat similar to the mind of man, though possessed of much larger faculties, proportioned to the grandeur of the work which he has executed. By this argument a posteriori, and by this argument alone, do we prove at once the existence of a Deity and his similarity to human mind and intelligence.

Answers

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

By this argument a posteriori, and by this argument alone, we can prove at once the existence of a Deity and his similarity to the human mind and intelligence, however, we have to admit that in this whole creation there is always the presence of some divinity that has created perfection in humans and all life sentences on planet earth. whose methods and forms are still unexplainable by science.

Let's take the human body functions, as an example. Not every function is controlled by the brain. You cannot have the power to stop and restart the blood circulation in your veins. Among many other examples.

Science and medicine cannot explain spontaneous remission. Even science and medicine still consider this as miracles.

Scientists and Doctors have studied the human body inside out. They know the body very well and do not have an answer about the place of consciousness in the body. Is it located in the brain? Is it located in the heart? Is it part of the soul? If its non-physical, then where is located and how it affects every single aspect of human behavior, consciously or unconsciously?
