Skimming and Scanning are reading techniques used to optimize the understanding of a text. These techniques have similarities and differences that can be compared as follows:
Both techniques aim to improve reading comprehension and optimize reading time.Skimming aims to promote a general understanding of the text.Through Skimming, the reader seeks to detect the general subject of the text, paying attention to the arrangement of information, such as graphics, tables, bullet points, or keywords. In this case, we can say that Skimming stimulates dynamic reading, to understand general information in the text.Scanning, on the other hand, allows the reader to search for specific information in the text.In this case, the reader also makes a dynamic reading, but to find something specific, observing important and objective information. You didn't present the Venn Diagram that the question refers to, which makes it impossible for me to provide a specific answer, but I hope the answer above will help you.

Readers of Hamlet have long wondered why Rosencrantz and Guildenstern do whatever the King and Queen ask them to do, even though they
are close friends of Hamlet's. Why would they obey the leaders of their country and perhaps unknowingly betray their friend? Craft an argument
of at least 300 words that explains everyone's behavior.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern obey their leaders even if it betrays their friends because they believe it is ever ethical and a divine obligation.
Why would Rosencrantz and Guildenstern have this thought?Because they believe that the monarchy was chosen by God.Because they believe it is a moral obligation that good people should follow.Although Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are very friendly with Hamlet, they do not see Hamlet as someone who must be obeyed, as his role in the monarchy still lacks religious and moral weight.
This is because people believed that kings and queens were God's representatives on earth. In very religious cultures, like Hamlet's, it was a moral and spiritual duty to obey kings and queens, even if doing so was a betrayal of family and friendships.
For this reason, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern prefer to obey the queen in all the orders she promotes, even if this is a betrayal of Hamlet, as both are afraid of being punished socially and religiously.

Explain what Carton did to find out the plan that involved executing the remaining members of Charles family.
plz answer its due by 12 ;((
Answer:
I'm sorry,but i don't know about this.
But maybe you can get here.
Explanation:
On the eve of his execution, Darnay comes to terms with his imminent death. After writing letters to Lucie, Doctor Alexandre Manette, and Mr. Lorry, he spends the night restlessly trying to sleep. The next day, Carton enters the cell at one o'clock in the afternoon and exchanges clothes with him. Then, while Carton dictates a letter to Darnay, Carton drugs him so that he loses consciousness. Two guards, who believe that Darnay is Carton and that Carton is Darnay, then carry Darnay out of the prison. At two o'clock, guards take Carton from the cell to a larger room in which the fifty-two prisoners that the court has scheduled for execution are assembling. No one notices that he is not Darnay, except for a meek little seamstress who asks Carton to hold her hand on the way to the guillotine.
Meanwhile, the coach containing Mr. Lorry, Doctor Manette, Lucie, Darnay, and young Lucie passes through the gates of Paris, where they identify Darnay — who is still unconscious — as Carton. Despite delays and fears of discovery, the group escapes France.
Analysis
The theme of doubles again appears when Carton uses his and Darnay's remarkable resemblance to save Darnay's life for a second time. The first time Carton saved Darnay, Carton did so without risk to himself. Afterward, the similarity in their features disturbed Carton, for the resemblance reminded him of the difference in their personalities and possibilities. Darnay represented everything that Carton could have been if he had not succumbed to alcohol and apathy. Saving Darnay this time, however, requires that Carton sacrifice his own life. On the surface Carton appears to make the sacrifice simply out of love for Lucie and her child. However, by considering the theme of resurrection that Dickens has woven through the story, we realize that Carton is also giving his life to save his soul. His remembrance of the "I am the resurrection and the life"passage two nights earlier indicates that he expects to find eternal life through his death. Additionally, by saving Darnay, he resurrects his best qualities in two ways. He has resurrected them in himself by planning and managing the crisis when the others could do nothing to help, and, by giving new life to Darnay, he has resurrected his own discarded potential through the man who embodies the realization of that potential.
He walked inside DeFarges' business and assumed he couldn't understand or speak French.
He feigned to be fatigued and fell asleep after a brief talk. While pretending to sleep, he hears Therese DeFarge begin planning against the surviving Darnay family members.
To notify people that a man in Paris who resembles Darnay exists (so that when he changes with Darnay, no one suspects that Darnay is not dead). Carton confesses, though, that he is drinking heavily because "I am a disappointed drudge."
As a result, the significance of the executing the remaining members of Charles family are the aforementioned.

Read this excerpt from “Poor Harold.”
A room in Washington Square South. By the light of a candle, a young man in tousled hair and dressing gown is writing furiously at a little table. A clock within strikes seven.
A door at the back opens, and a young woman looks in, sleepily. She frowns. The young man looks up guiltily.
SHE. What are you doing?
HE. (innocently) Writing.
SHE. So I see. (She comes in, and sits down. It may be remarked that a woman's morning appearance, in dishabille, is a severe test of both looks and character; she passes that test triumphantly. She looks at the young man, and asks) – Poetry?
HE. (hesitatingly) No. . . .
SHE. (continues to look inquiry).
HE. (finally) A letter. . . .
SHE. (inflexibly) – To whom?
HE. (defiantly) To my wife!
SHE. Oh! That's all right. I thought perhaps you were writing to your father.
HE. (bitterly) My father! Why should I write to my father? Isn't it enough that I have broken his heart and brought disgrace upon him in his old age –
SHE. Disgrace? Nonsense! Anybody might be named as a co-respondent in a divorce case.
HE. Not in Evanston, Illinois. Not when you are the local feature of a notorious Chicago scandal. Not when your letters to the lady are published in the newspapers. – Oh, those letters!
SHE. Were they such incriminating letters, Harold?
HAROLD. Incriminating? How can you ask that, Isabel? They were perfectly innocent letters, such as any gentleman poet might write to any lady poetess. How was I to know that a rather plain-featured woman I sat next to at a Poetry Dinner in Chicago was conducting a dozen love-affairs? How was I to know that my expressions of literary regard would look like love-letters to her long-suffering husband? That's the irony of it: I'm perfectly blameless.
